Step 1

Over medium heat, coat the bottom of a Dutch oven with oil. Saute the garlic and onion until the onion is soft.

Add in the carrots, celery, basil, lemon pepper, salt, and diced tomatoes. Mix well.

Step 2

Add in water and chicken broth. Bring to a boil. reduce heat to medium and cook.

Step 3

Puree the soup in a blender and return to the Dutch oven and warm over medium heat.
