Ingredients

French bread
cut into 1 inch slices

eggs

heavy cream
1
cup
milk
½
cup
brown sugar
2
teaspoons
vanilla extract

teaspoon
cinnamon
Powdered sugar

Maple syrup

Fresh fruit

Instructions
Prepare the baking dish. Slice the French bread into 1 inch thick slices and arrange them in the baking dish, overlapping if needed.
In a large bowl, beat the eggs, milk, with the brown sugar, cinnamon, cream, and vanilla.
Pour evenly over the bread. Press the slices into into the milk mixture to submerge them.
Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate overnight. Remove from the fridge about 30 minutes before baking and preheat the oven to 350F.
Uncover and bake for 35-40 minutes or until the egg mixture is set and the bread slices are lightly toasted and golden brown.
Serve with syrup, powdered sugar, or fresh fruit.
