Ingredients

  • cup beef bouillon granules
  • cup dried onion flakes
  • 1 tablespoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon parsley
  • ½ teaspoon celery salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  • Combine all ingredients in a small bowl.
  • Store in an airtight container until ready to use.
  • Soup: Mix 6 tablespoons in 4 cups of hot water.
  • Dip: Stir 3 tablespoons in 16 ounces sour cream
  • Gravy/Au Jus type dip: 3 tablespoons in 1 can beef broth.

Notes

  • Use sodium free beef granules for the best flavor.
  • Dried onion flakes are best for texture. Don't use granulated or small minced onion.
  • The onion powder enhances the flavor of the flakes so don't leave it out thinking there is too much onion flavor.
  • When making soups, add a splash of soy sauce and Worcestershire sauce for extra flavor.
  • When making gravy, a teaspoon of red wine or white wine adds another layer of yumminess.
  • This is perfect for stirring in a container of sour cream for the easiest dip around!
