- ⅓ cup beef bouillon granules
- ⅔ cup dried onion flakes
- 1 tablespoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon parsley
- ½ teaspoon celery salt
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
Combine all ingredients in a small bowl.
Store in an airtight container until ready to use.
Soup: Mix 6 tablespoons in 4 cups of hot water.
Dip: Stir 3 tablespoons in 16 ounces sour cream
Gravy/Au Jus type dip: 3 tablespoons in 1 can beef broth.
- Use sodium free beef granules for the best flavor.
- Dried onion flakes are best for texture. Don't use granulated or small minced onion.
- The onion powder enhances the flavor of the flakes so don't leave it out thinking there is too much onion flavor.
- When making soups, add a splash of soy sauce and Worcestershire sauce for extra flavor.
- When making gravy, a teaspoon of red wine or white wine adds another layer of yumminess.
- This is perfect for stirring in a container of sour cream for the easiest dip around!
