Ingredients

cups
all-purpose flour
1 1/2
tablespoons
baking powder
1 1/2
teaspoons
salt
1/2
cup
butter or shortening
cubed, chilled
Instructions
Hand Method
Whisk together flour, baking powder and salt.
Cut butter into flour mixture using a pastry blender or fork.
Transfer to airtight container and store in refrigerator for up to 3 months.
Food Processor Method
Add flour, baking powder and salt to food processor. Pulse to combine.
Add butter and pulse until mixture is coarse and resembles cornmeal.
Transfer to airtight container and store in refrigerator for up to 3 months.
Notes
to make muffins: 2 cups baking mix, 2/3 cup milk, 2 tbsp oil, 1 egg, 1/3 cup sugar, chips or nuts to mix in.
for drop biscuits: 2/3 cup milk, 2 1/4 cups baking mix.
to make waffles: 1 1/3 cup milk, 1 egg, 2 tbsp oil, 2 cups baking mix.
for pancakes: 1 cup milk, 2 eggs, 2 cups baking mix.
